On Monday 19 May, thanks to the BAANG project, the first meeting called ‘Coffee with a Coach’ took place with the aim of offering students and PhD students the opportunity to reflect on their path and discover new opportunities for personal and professional growth.
The meeting was intended for those who want to work on themselves or are already actively working, looking for new perspectives, solutions or facing important decisions. Among the topics addressed by the participants were:
- Finding a balance between responsibilities and personal life
- Deciding whether to continue in the field of study
- Questions about the future after graduation
- Finding personal direction and motivation
Thanks to the participants' permission, we can also share some insights:
"Targeting “A's” is pointless. It's more important to know how to do it for real."
"If I don't feel like it, I will remember why I chose the field."
"I've learned that every success I've had started with overcoming fear.’"
One participant summed up the benefit of the meeting with a telling statement:
"I rate the benefit as 11 out of 10. I left with a recipe for success."
The project has been funded by European Union Programme Horizon Europe under grant agreement no. 101079091.
