Brno University of Technology has announced the results of its 2025/2026 Best Teacher Awards, based on student evaluations. Among FME bachelor’s students, Ing. Dana Foltýnová from the Institute of Machine and Industrial Design was voted the most popular teacher. At the master’s level, the top spot went to Professor Miloslav Druckmüller.
According to FME students, Professor Druckmüller is the clear favourite among teachers in follow-up master’s programmes. He has won the survey a total of nine times and has ranked in the TOP 10 every year since the 2013/2014 academic year, when BUT first launched the survey. Professor Druckmüller also frequently ranks among the ten most popular teachers at the bachelor’s level.
“I would like to recognise the work of all BUT teachers who bring energy and enthusiasm to their teaching and often go above and beyond their regular duties. High-quality teaching is not only about expertise, but also about the ability to present the subject matter clearly and engagingly and to inspire genuine interest in the topic among students. I sincerely congratulate all those recognised and thank them for their contribution to the development of education at BUT,” said Vítězslav Máša, BUT Vice-Rector for Education and Quality.
