Surrounded by their families, friends, and members of the academic community, the latest graduates took their ceremonial oath and received diplomas confirming the successful completion of their studies. From 7 to 9 July 2026, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Brno University of Technology was filled with the special atmosphere of graduation ceremonies.

Over the course of three memorable days, the atmosphere was filled with joy, pride, and emotion. The graduation ceremonies marked the end of an important chapter in the graduates’ lives. For many, the years spent at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Brno University of Technology will remain a cherished memory. Four hundred newly qualified engineers received their diplomas and are now embarking on careers in industry or continuing their academic journey through doctoral studies.

Another 442 students reached an important milestone by successfully completing their bachelor’s studies and earning the Bc. degree. The vast majority have chosen to continue their studies at FME in a follow-up master’s programme.

The graduation ceremonies also included the presentation of the Rector’s Awards and Dean’s Awards for outstanding academic achievement. The authors of the best bachelor’s and master’s theses were also recognised with the Industrial Enterprise Award. In addition, the Faculty nominated two exceptionally talented graduates for the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports Award for Outstanding Students and Graduates and the Josef Hlávka Award for the best university students and graduates.
