Collaborative Creative work
FSI-YKT Acad. year: 2026/2027 Summer semester
Students will gain a general insight into the possibilities of collaborative work in a virtual environment and will try working on assignments in groups. They will participate in practical exercises that promote creativity, effective communication, and adaptability using technological tools in a virtual environment. Through studio assignments, students will develop skills to navigate the evolving environment of collaborative work and promote a holistic approach to problem solving.

Prerequisites
Knowledge of 3D software, computer modeling, and visualization is assumed. The course directly follows on from the Virtual Reality course and builds on the knowledge gained in the Computer Graphics I, II, and Computer Modeling and Visualization I courses.

Conditions for obtaining a classified credit:
- attendance at exercises (min. 5 out of 10 points),
- submission of assigned work by the specified deadlines (min. 40 out of 80 points),
- ability to work independently and discuss theoretical foundations (min. 5 out of 10 points).
The final grade will be determined according to the ECTS scale.
Lectures: attendance is recommended.
Exercises: attendance is mandatory and monitored by the instructor; a maximum of two absences are permitted. In the event of long-term absence, the course guarantor is responsible for making up for missed classes.

Aims
The course develops students' skills in collaborative work, creative problem solving, and effective communication in a virtual environment, with an emphasis on adaptability and the use of modern technological tools.
As part of the course, students will acquire comprehensive skills and knowledge that will enable them to work and communicate effectively in a virtual collaborative environment. They will be able to:
- Effectively use modern technological tools for teamwork.
- Develop and apply creative problem-solving strategies.
- Understand and use the principles of virtual reality and computer graphics in collaboration.
- Manage communication and coordination in dynamic team situations.
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of collaborative processes.
- Demonstrate an ethical and professional approach to teamwork.
