Original abstract
During the creation of systems of intelligent alarms in power facilities of nuclear plants, a problem was encountered of how to detect quickly and effectively (in real time) beginning instability of a process described by about 140 characteristics and to warn the control centre that, without appropriate measures, an emergency event is highly probable. Therefore, it is proposed that the classic control charts should be used to monitor process stability. Because of many characteristics being auto-correlated and non-stationary, range and moving range control charts were found to best and will be implemented in a future software application.
