Original abstract
This paper deals with analysis of the machining process sound spectrum at milling of glass/polyester composite material. The development of intensity and frequency of machining process with the growth of flank wear were observed during the experimental machining. High speed steal cutting tools deposited by (AlTiCr)N coating were used for experimental machining. The goal of this article is identifying potential dependencies between the sound generated by the machining process and other measurable variables, which include flank wear of cutting tool and value of cutting force (recalculated to specific cutting force). The obtained results were compared with results reached when machining of steel DIN EN 10 277 (1.8159).
