Original abstract

The paper deals with evaluation of the influence of the stiffness of testing machine on the calibration of parameters of ductile fracture models. The calibration is based on numerical simulation of experiments, realized by the special notched tube specimen. These are exposed to combined loading with different proportions between axial and torsional loading components. Input data for the computational simulation of experiments can either be based on theoretical proportion between the axial and torsional movement of the testing machine mechanism, or taken directly from specimen displacements measured by digital image correlation on the specimen's surface. The results show the difference in calibration parameters obtained by both methods.
