Original abstract

Smoke visualization is the method which aims to obtain primary, especially qualitative information about the flow field. One of the visualization outputs is a plane cut of the flow (image). It is necessary to separate the flow region from the background with image segmentation because of information about its geometry. After this operation, the flow border points are detected.
