Original abstract

The paper deals with the Stochastic Noise Generation and Radiation (SNGR) model based on synthesizing of turbulent velocity components from known turbulent flow properties, e.g. turbulent kinetic energy, turbulence dissipation rate and energy spectra. Using these input parameters the output turbulent velocity field is generated by the synthesis of a finite sum of random Fourier modes. The distrubution and the number of these modes has a direct impact on accuracy and computational demands. The purpose of this research is to show the dependence of the SNGR model on the Fourier modes distribution. Another goal is to determine the minimal number of Fourier modes for each distribution.
