Original abstract
Design and arrangement of biaxial testing rig has (together with the shape and size of the specimen) a significant influence on the quality of the measured data which are needed for constitutive models of soft tissues. The objective of the paper is to specify binding elements and range of their parameters (numbers, positions and sizes of hooks or clamps, specimen size, stiffness), which can guarantee plausible measured data when a square-shaped specimen is used for biaxial testing.
