Many factors determinethe properties and the working life of the forming tools. One of these factors which could influence tools working life and also course of the forming process could be kind of the contact process and force distribution. As the value of forming force depends on the friction and frictional conditions too, the forming process are very complex. Influences of all these frictional factors and some of relationships between themselves are described in this article.
