Original abstract
This paper focuses on CFD modelling associated with reinforced exhaust system (REEXS) that is known as the Aaberg exhaust hood. As the hood makes use of air supply, creating a radial jet, investigation of mutual interaction of the jet with obstacles is the main scope of the paper presented. A number of CFD simulations have been performed showing effects of the obstacle size, distance, and the angle that longitudinal axis of the hood and normal of the obstacle surface form together on flow pattern in front of the hood, considering a welding workbench as the obstacle.
