Original abstract

This paper deals with implementation stress-strain analysis of the lumbal segment of the human verte-bral. Individual vertebral elements are modelled base on the 4. and the 5. CT slices of the lumbal spondyle. Mechanical interaction in joint section of spine between spondyles is modeled by using con-tact elements. The arthral contact was supported with respect to complication of geometry by creating of cartilage with suitable thickness. This analysis is made by using FEM software ANSYS for a few variations. The results of this analysis contribute to view about effort of the vertebral segment.
