Original abstract

Gasoline EGR cooler is more and more often implemented to gasoline engines to increase fuel efficiency. Since the effect of EGR cooler parameters against real consumption has not been measured yet, we tested it and verified it. For vehicle testing we used gasoline hybrid vehicle with Atkinson cycle and two EGR coolers with different heat rejection. We measured the car with each cooler in the same conditions on the vehicle dynamometer and we investigated the change of fuel consumption.
