Original abstract
Safety of transport means is a priority for manufacturers and it is a subject of strict standards. The present article describes a method for measurement of displacement in compression tests of forks arm of the motorcycle made from aluminum alloy AlSi7Mn0.3. The test is performed on the universal hydraulic press. The standard output of this test is a stress stain diagram that will give us information about the amount of deformation (strain) at distinct intervals of compressive loading (stress). Using of high-speed camera allows to analyze the deformation of several points of the fork arms in one test cycle.
