Original abstract
The vocal tract, along with the vocal folds, is the organ generating the human voice. The vocal folds alone generate what is called source voice which differs depending on whether a person wants to speak in a loud voice or in a whisper. The patients after laryngectomy are not able to use the source voice for voice generation because their vocal folds are surgically removed. Than it is necessary to use other artificial possibility for source voice generation. The paper deals with the external excitation of the vocal tract, that is without the vocal folds engaged – after totally laryngectomy
