Original abstract

Airblast atomizers are widely applied in engineering practice. The atomization process incorporates simultaneous mass, moment and energy transfer which is usually measurend even today due to its complexity. For this purpose, a Phase Doppler Anemometr (PDA) was used. The measurement error was analyzed through the validation rate which was generated by the software of the PDA system.
