Original abstract

This paper is focused on solving of clinical problems associated with the mechanical interaction of dental implants with the bone tissue. One of the problem issues deals with an effective acquisition and utilization of data from CT and micro-CT devices which might be used for creation of complex computational models. The effective processing of data from CT and micro-CT devices will enable to achieve high level of computational models which will comprise detailed trabecular bone architecture, non-homogeneous bone material model, remodeling algorithms etc. Using these models will allow local biomechanical analysis which is inevitable for understanding of bone-implant interaction mechanism.
