Original abstract
Nickel base-superalloys are favourite materials for most exposed parts of aircraft engines. Apart from the development of new materials based on strengthening effects of ordered ă' phase, their surface protection is most pursued problem in high temperature materials research. The constructional parts of gas-engine turbines (blades, discs and shaft of high pressure turbine) are exposure to high dynamic stress (fatigue processes and creep) and various temperatures in dioxide-corrosion condition (hot corrosion, oxidation and erosion). The suitable protection against hot corrosion and erosion are surface coatings [5] especially codeposition of Al and Si by pack cementation process. The technology of Al-Si protective layers production is defined in literature [2]. This paper aims to study the diffusion processes and the phase transformation of Al-Si protective layers and the layer – line (between Al-Si layer and basic material ZHS6K).
