V letošním roce byly zásadním způsobem změněny definice základních jednotek SI. Novela vstoupila v platnost zhruba v lololetí. Příspevek připomíná základní skutečnosti této novely a zamýšlí se nad možnými souvislostmi s obory technické diagnostiky.

English abstract

Definitions of basic SI units have been fundamentally changed this year. The amendment came into force around mid-year. The paper recalls the basic facts of this amendment and considers possible connections with the fields of technical diagnostics.
