Original abstract
The article presents a procedure of product warranty costs estimation in the initial stages of product life. Procedure based on the knowledge of reliability measures, which enables to estimate the warranty costs, is proposed. Procedure considers the product to be a system that consists of individual subsystems and items of specific nature of failure and specific failure repair process. Proposed procedure will enable suppliers to gain valuable information so they can make rational decisions related to warranty providing.
