Original abstract
Influence of the normal stress on the shear stress along the shear deformation path in (110) plane for B2 structure of NiTi alloy is studied from first principles. All results are computed from changes of the total energy of studied system under applied deformation. First, the easiest deformation path was found in the (110) plane and second, influence of the normal stress on the shear stress was investigated along this path. The applied normal stress was considered to be both tensile and compressive.
