Original abstract

Příspěvek se zabývá výpočtovým modelováním fyziologického a patologického kyčelního kloubu pomocí metody konečných prvků ve výpočtovém systému Ansys.

English abstract

From mechanical point of view are many surgical operations of the hip based on the improvement of improper mechanical conditions in the hip joint by reconstruction or modification of its geometry. In order to study biomechanics of the hip, it was created several variants of the 3-D finite element model describing physiological and pathological hip joint. The model consists of thighbone, pelvic bone, cartilages and muscles. Stress and strain analysis was performed and some important quantities, such as radial stress, contact force and contact pressure between femoral head and acetabulum were studied. When standing on one lower limb, the maximum of contact pressure is situated on the upper parts of contact surfaces and its value is about 1,6 MPa. The ratio of contact force to gravity force is about 2,6. The substantial influence of CCD angle on these mechanical quantities was shown.
