Original abstract

The contribution deals with the life prediction of the Relanex insulating material which is used for the insulation of electrical rotary machines. With the help of the Sugeno type fuzzy controller, we determined the quantity of breakdown voltage and, on the basis of the breakdown voltage, we determined the actual state of the insulating material in the light of disruptive strength. According to the measured matrix of particular input quantities (Bv : activation energy of the conductive effect, Ba : activation energy of the polarization effect, Uk : critical voltage) and consequential training phase, we can predict critical voltage values Ups, compare those values with real breakdown voltage Up and do evaluation with the help of the absolute and relative errors.
