Original abstract

Fiber deposition in both male and female respiratory airways was investigated. Deposition fraction was higher in male large conducting airways compared to female ones. On the other hand, deposition fraction was lower in male small conducting airways. The resulted indicated strong effect of impaction mechanism on deposition.
