Original abstract

This contribution contains the results of measurement of carbon redistribution in the welded joint of steels (low-alloy Si steel/low-alloy CrNiMoV steell and low-alloy Si steel/austenitic Cr18Ni9 steel). The measurement was carried out in the range of temperatures 500 – 1000 oC. On the basis of the measured concentration data the carbon diffusion coefficients were calculated and also their temperature dependences were determined.
