Original abstract

The result is a functional sample of an Electromechanical Actuator with enhanced service life and reliability for aerospace applications. The increased service life and reliability will be achieved through the use of a brushless electric motor, liquid lubrication of the worm gears, and an LVDT sensor for rod extension position sensing.
