Original abstract

Inteligentní systém pro aplikaci tuhých modifikátorů tření je aktivní aplikační zařízení určené pro aplikaci tuhých modifikátorů tření na běhoun a okolek kol kolejových vozidel. Systém umožňuje řízené nastavení a přerušení přítlačné síly modifikátoru k povrchu kola v závislosti na provozních podmínkách. Součástí řešení je aplikační mechanismus, řídicí jednotka a senzorický subsystém umožňující detekci nanesené třecí vrstvy, přičemž součástí řešení je také algoritmus pro řízení systému a pro detekci nanesené vrstvy. Systém umožňuje aplikaci jednoho nebo obou modifikátorů tření a je kompatibilní s vyvinutými aplikačními tyčinkami. Funkčnost byla ověřena laboratorně i v reálném provozu.

English abstract

device designed for applying solid friction modifiers to the tread and flange of railway vehicle wheels. The system enables controlled adjustment and interruption of the contact force of the friction modifier against the wheel surface depending on operating conditions. The solution consists of an application mechanism, a control unit and a sensor subsystem enabling detection of the applied friction layer; it also includes a control algorithm for system operation and layer detection. The system allows the application of one or both friction modifiers and is compatible with the developed application sticks. The functionality of the system has been verified both under laboratory conditions and in real operational service.
