Original abstract

The result is a functional prototype of a recovery braking parachute system with a controllable drag coefficient (Cdx) intended for advanced aerial vehicle applications. Adaptive braking performance is achieved through an electronically controlled regulation mechanism enabling variable aerodynamic characteristics within a single-stage system.
