DEVELOPMENT OF THE INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR TOOL DATA MANAGEMENT INTO MACHINE-INDUSTRIES COMPANY

This contribution informs about the role of the existing information systems for tool data management with respecting the assurance of the effectiveness, production flexibility and production quality. The national and international standards, e.g. ISO 9000 and demands on the compatibility with common used systems ERP, MES, PPS are considered. The contribution also informs about the design and implementation of information system for tool data management, which is developing at the Institute of Production Machines, Systems and Robotics, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (FME) of Brno University of Technology. On the development too cooperate the Institute of Information Technologies, Faculty of Technology, Tomas Bata University in Zlin and Tajmac- ZPS a.s. company.
