Original abstract

Brno University of Technology (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering) is developing biomechanical kinematic structures. This development is carried out in two basic directions. The first direction is concerned with research in the field of prosthetic grippers used to replace an amputated forearm. The second field of research is to develop the artificial hand, which would be able to completely replace a human hand. These artificial hands are designed to be end effectors of industrial robots.
