Original abstract

The formulation of the problems of the Operations Research in the domain of transportation for the education at universities and for the strategic decision in the public administration should contribute to the support of ecologically favourable forms of transportation. The paper presents the analysis of some facts which at the present time hinders the effective utilization of the railway traffic as the inter-regional link and as a factor of increasing the integrity of the management of the country and shows us possible ways for their cancellation.
