In the last years the technical diagnostics has been increasingly using a computational technology in order to implement models of simple and also more complicated measuring instruments. This contribution deals with the creation of a simple frequency analyzer model, operated by the Labview 7 Express software, and with applying this analyzer to the diagnostics of simulated vibrations
