Článek se věnuje problematice tvorby MKP modelů lidských tkání z CT/MR dat. Práce je podporována grantovým projektem GA~106/98/K019. Hlavní oblastí praktických aplikací je biomechanika člověka a medicína.

English abstract

This article is dealing with problems of creating FEM models of human tissues directly from CT/MR data. The work is connected to grant project GA~106/98/K019. Main area of aplication of described method and algorithms is in subject ``biomechanics of man'' and in medicine. Main topic of the article are ``new possibilities of direct creating of FEM models''. Currently we are working on: better automatization of segmentation of tissues from CT/MR data; creating small FEM models with better quality and creating FEM model of group of tissues. Our future work is: boolean operations with FEM models on mesh level and reduction of number of elements and nodes of FEM models.
