Original abstract
Knowledge of plastic behaviour of materials, in particular steels, under different conditions, including the boundary conditions of formability and their application are essential. Mechanical properties of steel assigned for forming technology (e.g. yield and ultimate strength stresses, deformation characteristics) change with the strain rate and time of contact between the piece being and the tool. The anvil test – TAT. This test simulates real forming processes. comparing experimental results with the LS DYNA 3D simulation results make the comparison of changes in dependence on impact velocity possible.
