Original abstract

The influence of sintering schedule on the final microstructure of SrTiO3 ceramics was studied. From the point of view of reaching high final densities together with small grain size, pressure-assisted Spark Plasma Sintering was found as the most effective sintering method. In case of pressureless sintering heating schedules, Two Step Sintering method resulted in microstructures with higher density and smaller grain size than Constant Rate of Heating method.
