Original abstract

The knowledge of the coefficient of friction between a metal sheet and a forming tool is necessary for the computerized constructional solution of tools for the deep drawing as well as for the optimum selextion of a suitable lubricant for the sheet drawing. There exist various methods for the lubricant testing, the one of whitch is the drawing of the strip of sheet in a special device in which the strip is lubricated on both ist sides.
