Automatizace se neobejde bez měření. Článek připomíná význam mezinárodní metrologie a dvě významná výročí – 130 let podepsání Metrické konvence a 50. výročí založení OIML.

Control is not dispensed with quality measurement. The paper admonishes of about importance international metrology and her two important jubilee : 130 years of signature Metre convention and semi-centennial floatation of OIML (Organisation Internationale de Métrogie Légale ).
