Original abstract
Predictive ability of various ductile fracture criteria were tested by a numerically-experimental procedure, applied at compression of notched cylindrical specimen. With different geometry, material and frictional conditions, the specimens were compressed until first crack occured at the tip of the notch. In the following, the tests were numerically simulated using explicit FE code LS-DYNA3D. Obtained local stress and strain history at the critical point was used for evaluation of a number of published ductile fracture criteria.
