Original abstract
The article includes the results of research of thermodynamic effects in flatsurface grinding with the aim of eliminating generation of undesirable tensile residual stress in the surface layer and preventing other negative effects due to the thermal degradation of the surface. The mathematical quntification of heat and temperature in grinding was verified with the aid of thermal imaging system Therma Cam SC2000 complete with the definition of boundary conditions to determine specofic individual dependence.
