Článek pojednává a trendech v oblasti technologie tváření. Popisuje výhody technologie tváření, provádí srovnání možností obrábění a tváření z hlediska používání strojů. Ukazuje směry rozvoje jak v oblasti technologických procesů tak i ve vývoji nových speciálních tvářecích strojů.

English abstract

The article deals with trends in the field of metal forming. The advantages of metal forming are described, the comparison of possibilities of metal forming technology and machining technology is made from the point of view of machines. Than are showed trends not only in the region of technological processes but in the development of new special machines as well.
