Original abstract

The paper presents the results of computational modeling of the stress states in the hip joint endoprosthesis ceramic head. Loading of the analyzed system is oblique and come near the physiological loading of the endoprosthesis. The axisymmetric manufacturing inaccuracies of the contact cone areas of the head and the stem are considered. Program system of FEM – ANSYS was used to realize a computational modeling. The increase of the tensile stresses in the ceramic head under oblique loading is evident from the analysis of the computational modelling results.
