The consortium on "TRANSMUTATION" consisiting of major nuclear research institutions of the Czech Republic (Nuclear Research Institute Rez plc., Nuclear Physic Institute of the Academy of Sciences Rez, Czech Technical University in Prague, Technical University in Brno, Energovyzkum Brno and Skoda JS plc., Plzen) has been established for the Czech National program to solve the issues of spent nuclear fuel using accelator driven system. That paper assumes its activities during the solution of that ambitious goal.
