Original abstract

In this book, the authors discuss a very important problem of physical metallurgy and metallurgical technology, i.e. detailed evaluation of the structural stability of deposits and welded joints under demanding service conditions. This is a very important scientific and technical problem. Both authors have accumulated extensive experience in this area, both in solving fundamental research projects and a numbe of scientific research problems, together with the analysis of various cases of the development of degradation processes in working power plant and solving appropriate production and technical problems.
