Original abstract

The development of biorobotics devices at the Department of Production Machines, Systems and Robotics, FME, BUT is currently proceeding in two main directions. The first direction includes applications in technical robotics – specifically in robotics assembly. In this area, an anthropomorphous end effector (hand and arm) with the functions and apperance of the human hand was designed as part of work on diploma project and the following postgradual doctorate study. Thes second direction is represented by orthopaedic prosthetics.
