Original abstract

The modified ribbon winding theory was proposed, called as "conception of variable corrected design stress", that corresponds to the optimal constant effective stress (ev. shear stress) distribution at the wound supporting cylinder during the most dangerous working state of the compound vessel, when internal pressure is acting. The influence of bending stress is taken into account. Internal core of the compound vessel consists of matrix and ring, made of different materials. The relations were derived in analytical form, describing the radial distribution of necessary tangential prestressing and also the stress distribution at the whole compound body in the characteristic loading states.
