Original abstract

Two basic security techniques used in mobile systems are introduced in this paper. The first one, so-called authentication, ensures that the user is who they claim to be. The second one, so-called encryption, is used for data protection against unauthorized listening.

Czech abstract

V článku jsou stručně popsány dvě základní zabezpečovací techniky používané v systémech mobilních komunikací. První z nich, s názvem Ověření totožnosti, zajišťuje přístup do systému pouze identifikované osobě, která má ke vstupu oprávnění. Druhá, s názvem Šifrování, se užívá pro zabezpečení přenosu dat proti neoprávněnému používání, resp. zneužití.
