[popis] => This article describes research within the frame of GAČR project; the aim of the project is to develop a low-energy house. The article focuses on an analysis of airflow images, visualized by smoke or fog. Specifically it focuses on the interferograms, characterized by regular changing of bright and dark stripes of random shapes and the light intensity. For the representation of stripes it is often useful to use their centric curve. In this article I mostly concentrate on the mathematical principles of detecting a centric curve of a selected stripe.

For the network configuration an analytical approach has been applied through the cross-validation method. We performed an exact comparison of both approaches on real-world data set. Results of two types of artificial neural network learning algorithms are compared with two algorithms of statistical prediction of future values.

[popis] => This contribution describes new methods of face recognition. The methods Principal Component Analysis
(PCA) and Evolutionary Principal Component Analysis (EPCA) with genetic algorithm (GA) are described and
implemented. The Radial Basis Function (RBF) neural network is used in the way of classifier and genetic algorithm is
used for RBF neural network training in one case and for selecting eigenvectors from PCA method in other case.
Evolutionary PCA with genetic algorithm outperform other methods tested in this project on the testing database

It presents a very promising version of a commonly known genetic algorithm denoted as GAHC and an algorithm denoted as HC12. Global optimization properties of these algorithms are illustrated with several nonlinear optimization problems. These problems are also solved by sophisticated solvers in general algebraic modelling system to increase objectivity and to compare different methods. Presented optimization algorithms are implemented in our own optimization toolbox GATE in Matlab environment.

A constant is derived, by which all the lot sizes are multiplied which allows the creation of a new schedule which is feasible under all given constraints, minimising the total controllable costs and preserving the mutual ratio of the lot sizes. This technique could also be used to solve the optimal lot size problem for a set of product, if the mutual relationship of these lot sizes is given.

[popis] => Firstly, we review basic principles of the distributed modeling approach in optimization and present introduction to the formal framework based on the concept of a distributed optimization program. The framework is a general one and may be utilized for various classes of decision problems. The DOPs (distributed optimization programs) are introduced as syntactical entities containing certain optimization elements and based on composition rules. They may describe both basic and advanced mathematical programs (e.g., dynamic, stochastic, multistage, and hierarchical) and also game theory models. In addition, more complicated models can be derived from these building stones and further transformed in the syntactical correct way.
