design of speed controller for fuel pump. The fuel pump is used
for two-shaft turbine engine concept with reducer driven by a
free turbine. Controlling the amount of fuel injection into the
combustion chamber is based on the speed control of the fuel
pump which is controlled by the engine control unit according to
the desired power mode. The resulting flow of fuel into the
combustion chamber beside the pump speed regulator influences
the bypass which constricts the return fuel according to pressure
in the nozzles. Control characteristic of the bypass controller is
fixed and is determined by its structure. The only adjustable
parameter is the speed of the fuel pump. This paper describes the
design procedure of this fuel pump using a two-level controller
with speed and subordinate current-torque control.

[nazev_en] => Introduction to Design of Speed Controller for Fuel Pump
[popis_en] => This contribution presents an efficient approach to
design of speed controller for fuel pump. The fuel pump is used
for two-shaft turbine engine concept with reducer driven by a
free turbine. Controlling the amount of fuel injection into the
combustion chamber is based on the speed control of the fuel
pump which is controlled by the engine control unit according to
the desired power mode. The resulting flow of fuel into the
combustion chamber beside the pump speed regulator influences
the bypass which constricts the return fuel according to pressure
in the nozzles. Control characteristic of the bypass controller is
fixed and is determined by its structure. The only adjustable
parameter is the speed of the fuel pump. This paper describes the
design procedure of this fuel pump using a two-level controller
with speed and subordinate current-torque control.

subjected to ever increasing pressure to enhance energy efficiency, both from the side of customers
and also in terms of legislative regulations. A selection of drives for the individual axes is primarily
a compromise between achievable dynamics, precision and price. The electrical efficiency and
energy consumption is not usually taken into consideration during the design of the axis. In this
paper, the electricity consumption of single drive axis actuator and redundant actuation through two
drives is compared under various operating conditions. The measurement results are used to assess
the benefits of redundant actuation of positioning axes with emphasis on energy efficiency, which is

production through the combustion of coal powder. The powder is
transported in air within ducts and its size is detected by means of

Computer simulations show how the proposed strategies achieve a
relevant improvement of regression performance with respect to
the standard approach, using ANN directly on the dataset related

The data is then processed and reduced for the use of the Matlab Classification learner app, which creates a model for recognizing faults. The model is ultimately tested on a new sample of data. The aim of the article is to verify the ability to recognize similarly rotary machine faults from real measurements in time domain.
