[popis] => The Popov criterion for the stability of nonlinear control systems is considered. The Popov criterion gives sufficient conditions for stability of nonlinear systems in the frequency domain. It has a direct graphical interpretation and is convenient for both design and analysis. In the article presented, a table of transfer functions of linear parts of nonlinear systems is constructed. The table includes frequency response functions and offers solutions to the stability of the given systems. The table makes a direct stability analysis of selected nonlinear systems possible. The stability analysis is solved analytically and graphically.
Then it is easy to find out if the nonlinear system is or is not stable; the task that usually ranks among the difficult task in engineering practice.

[popis] => This paper describes the problem of the decentralized control system Atlas DMC with a view to particular functions analysis for application needs. This is the question of a very high - duty digital actuating mechanism determined for the control of a big torsional moment and a high speed with the possibility of various applications. The standard logic makes an easy interface with usual control systems possible. Programming is carried out in PL2 code in ProMOTION software under WINDOWS operating system. Coefficient (parameter) values come from actions of Continuous Action Reinforcement Learning Automata (CARLAs). Modified algorithm for automata implementation is used which continuously updates learning parameters according to former learning process. The goal of this on-line training is formulated as achievement of minimum mean square of control error. Described concept of control is proved by simulation study. It is shown that the significant improvement of whole system behavior can be achieved.

Obtained results are compared with results reached with nonlinear analytically designed PD controller. The controller used here is robust to high level noise and also able to work with relatively high delay.

[popis_en] => Simulation study describes both behavior and learning of small active magnetic bearing control through nonlinear PD controller which uses parallel nonlinear predictive compensation, realized by local automatic approximator, which is presented further. Local approximator repeatedly uses the locally linear model based on algorithm of locally weighted regression. The goal of on‑line learning process is to minimize the mean square of control error. Obtained results are compared with results reached with nonlinear analytically designed PD controller. The controller used here is robust to high level noise and also able to work with relatively high delay.
